Neroli oil is extracted from the flowers by the steam distillation process. The smell of the oil is sweet, honeyed, and partially metallic with green and spicy facets. The oil is used as a base in perfumes and scented products. Neroli oil is an important ingredient in body lotions and cosmetics. It is also used in aromatherapy.
